I’ve been quietly working on my next pattern, the Naples Dress. Â I’ve got it ready for testing now, and that’s where you come in!
Sizes newborn to 12 years. Refer to the size chart based on chest measurement.
A perfect combination of ease and fancy, the Naples Dress features a subtle high-low empire bodice with crossover neckline. It pulls over the head and is fastened with either a bias or flowy tie. Sleeves can be short butterfly, mid-length or long bell sleeves. Skirt options include a swishy A-line or full gathered skirt in dress or tunic lengths. The bodice is woven and the sleeves and skirt can be either woven or knit. I’ll be testing with all wovens for the first round to ensure fit and pattern piece accuracy.
Both of these dresses shown are pre-test versions and the pattern has already been modified to reduce some width in the bodice, and length to the dress.  Arden’s is a shortened dress purely because I used every inch of the fabric I had, so it’s four inches shorter than the dress, but a little longer than the tunic length.
Testing to begin on Tuesday, February 2 and will go a week or more depending on how many revisions are needed. I run testing through a Facebook group for testers, so access to Facebook is required. Sign up is by Google doc, click over here to put your name in the hat! I also have a link in my Jennuine Design Pattern Group.
