Last week I shared the dress I made using the #21100 Fun Tee pattern as a base. Â Today I’m showing you the unadulterated and mistake-free version of the pattern.
I was already planning to make Arden a tee, but then last week her school had a series of color days and we had zero clothes with red for her to wear. Â I showed her this Lillestoff fabric with red roses and girls with red dresses and she loved it! Â A couple of hours later (which included dinner in there) I had a shirt for her to wear.
For photos, I took advantage of a trip we took into Manhattan as a belated celebration of Hadley’s birthday to get some photos of Arden. Â We went to The Sugar Factory for brunch and then walked along the High Line for a while. Â After we came down from the High Line we went to a playground so there’s photos from each of those locations.
This is the gathered short sleeve option. Â There are four sleeve options total: fitted short sleeve, fitted long sleeve, gathered short sleeve, and gathered long sleeve which is a two-part sleeve and what I intended for the sleeve on the Fun Tee dress I made.
Since this knit has great stretch and recovery and I wasn’t trying to eek a dress out of the fat half I had, I used the same fabric for the neckline and sleeve bands. Â The neckline lays really nicely and of course Arden loves the puff sleeves – perfect for the motif on the fabric with two girls that look like princesses.

Arden looks, as usual, completely adorable. The #21100 Fun Tee is my kind of pattern – a great looking basic as a building block for creative sewing. Your neck binding looks great, and the puffed sleeves are perfect for the feminine fabric.
Yay! My daughter has been wanting to make a T-Shirt, but we have not been able to find any patterns at the store. She will be thrilled to see this! Thanks for sharing!
