Video Tutorial :: LOL Swing Top Construction

Hello! Over the weekend, I managed to grab some time to make a video tutorial showing the construction of the LOL Swing Top yoke and shoulder.

These are two areas that can sometimes be potentially confusing when shown in still photos or illustrations.  I actually show a way to back into the rolling described in the tutorial, and you can apply this method to other patterns using a burrito method to help wrap your head around the orientation of the fabrics.

the video was helpful but also confusing because the pattern i bought has the left shoulder open with a button or snap closing– i was able to get the left shoulder done fine but have redone the right shoulder 3 times and am very frustrated!!!! any help would be appreciated—peg

The video is showing the knit version of the pattern with no closure, while the woven version uses a snap or button to close the shoulder. If you’re on Facebook the Jennuine Design pattern group is a great way to get help while being able to share photos of what’s causing difficulty. https://www.facebook.com/groups/241518859377669/
