I am so excited to share this Etsy shop with you! A Jennuine Life has its first sponsor – Sew Fine Fabric! I have several affiliate buttons on my sidebar, but this is my first honest to goodness sponsor people!
When Jodi e-mailed me about an arrangement, I was so excited. If there’s one thing I use plenty of in all these sewing adventures, it’s fabric. Then I went to her shop and my jaw literally dropped open. She has curated a collection of ah-maze-ing fabrics! It’s like she reached into my head and pulled out all the fabrics I’ve been drooling over and then added a ton more that she knew I would like just for fun!
Here’s her shop home page – now that you’re back from clicking over to browse (you know you did it, right?) aren’t you so impressed by the selection?
She’s stocked a huge variety of organic cottons – I’ve been seeing some of these around and have wanted to try them, but organics aren’t stocked in my local brick and mortar shops.
I requested these two fabrics to make a dress for Hadley’s second birthday. It’s organic Abacus in pool from the Mod Basics collection from Birch Fabrics and organic Dottie in orange from the same Birch Fabrics collection. It looks like she’s out of the abacus print in pool, but the orange is still available, as well as other prints in the pool color. I am in love with the feel of this fabric! I’m all for organic anything, but it better be as good or better than the non-organic counterpart and this is the stuff for sure!
If I can power through my queue of Etsy and other obligations I should be able to share the finished dress with you soon. I am also eyeing some other fabrics with a button-down shirt for Dave in mind – can you guess which one? Hint, it’s not one I featured…
*I received fabrics from Sew Fine Fabric to use in a project. The opinions given are my own based on my experiences.*
oooh…loving that aqua chevron knit! thanks for introducing me to a new shop!
Wow, she really does have a great selection. I can’t wait to see Hadley’s new dress!
