Recently, I received a series of e-mails from a reader named Sherry, who was working on her own version of my PVC Playhouse.
She had some questions and so we conversed back and forth over several days while she worked on her playhouse. It was interesting to be virtually working with her, or coaching her through. She helped point out some errata in the posts which I still need to go back and fix. She also said a summary post of the entire construction would make it easier than the four different pieces. I’ll try to go back and do a Cliff Notes version for easier reference.
Check out how cute her playhouse turned out! She used boyish fabrics as she has grandsons who will be enjoying it. She also added a curtain to the front which attaches with hook and loop tape so the boys can keep it closed up like a fort.
This is while it’s under construction with the roof and side seams attached and waiting for the front and back peaked sections.
Here are her windows with the curtains and awnings. The curtains are an adorable froggy fabric.
I think her grandsons are going to have a blast!
Are there any projects you’ve made using A Jennuine Life tutorial? I’d love to see them, and feature them here with your permission!
