A while back, Stephanie of Swoodson Says proposed a fun exchange of sorts: a tutorial swap where we would be matched up with another creative blogger, select one of their tutorials, and post about it.
I was assigned to feature a tutorial from Pen, Seb & Rox through the Elfster program. Â Roxanne and I go way back, with her testing many of my patterns – mostly on her little Pen, but more recently with her son Seb. Â It’s so fun watching her kids grow up over the last year!
Here’s where I have to make a little admission… Â I completely misinterpreted the assignment. Â I thought I was to go take a look at Roxanne’s great collection of tutorials and just post about it. Â Turns out I was supposed to also DO the tutorial, and now I’m on vacation with no means to accomplish that. Â So I’ll just carry on as if I’m not a complete dunderhead and introduce the tutorial I chose as IÂ thought I was supposed to do.
The tutorial I chose is for this great “Broken and Sideways” Heart Tee. Â I love the graphic simplicity of this and that it works equally well for boys or girls.
I particularly love that she included the printable template for the “<3″ to take the guesswork out of making one with the right font and sizing.  She even goes on to give recommended percentages for printing for toddlers or babies.
I hereby solemnly swear to make my girls their own Broken and Sideways Heart Tees (or dresses) in the very near future.  To make yours, be sure to visit Pen, Seb & Rox to get all the details.  While you’re there, check out the rest of her posts – her productivity is mind-boggling and her darling duo of Pen and Seb make fabulous models for her work!
I loved looking back at past projects and the “Broken & Sideways Heart Tee”! I hope you have a great vacation. 😉
Aww well I bet Roxanne enjoyed the feature of her cutie at least 🙂 That’s so fun that you two already had a relationship!
