Thrifty to Nifty Features #10

There were lots of new friends at the party this week in addition to those who come back each week – thanks so much for visiting and sharing your inspiration!

Here are the links that I’m featuring this week – grab a button if you were featured:

A Jennuine Life Thrifty to Nifty Thursdays Feature

Mae at The Life of a Compulsive Crafter sewed this adorable blank slate blazer using $.99 fabric from the thrift store.  So super cute!

Homemade Pimento Cheese recipe from HousewifeHowTos.com
Katie at Housewife How-To’s  made her own pimento cheese.  This is a guilty pleasure for me, so maybe I can be a little less guilty if it’s homemade??
Rachel at Holy Craft gives a great detailed explanation of how to image transfer using an inkjet printer and freezer paper.  Her son must love this!
Sarah at The Winthrop Chronicles took a thrifted oval frame and turned it into this beautiful chalkboard.  Reminds me so much of a mirror frame I had growing up – wish I’d held onto that!

Audrey Hepburn sheath dress by thisblogisnotforyou.com

Charlie at This blog is not for you is taking a challenge to make 27 dresses and this Audrey Hepburn style sheath dress is so stinking adorable!  I wish I still had a waist to wear something similar.

Changing table after removing hump
Christy at Confessions of a Serial Do-It-Yourselfer cut off the awkward changing table hump and transformed it into this beautiful dresser for her son’s room.
I can’t wait to see what you’ve all been up to this week!
