Thrifty to Nifty Features #8

Thanks so much to everyone who linked up this week!  There are a lot of new friends visiting this week – welcome!

A Jennuine Life Thrifty to Nifty Thursdays Feature

There was so much greatness linked this week that I’m featuring a couple more projects than I have been in the past:

Melissa at Redfly Creations shows how to make this ingenious emergency kit from of all things a potholder!

Fotini (what a fun name!) at Glamorous, Affordable Life has a tutorial for making dishwashing tablets at a fraction of the cost of store bought. I’ve seen various soaps, but never tablets previously – check it out!
This one has me rethinking my stash of unworn necklaces and lonely earrings.  Elaine at Visual Meringue upcycled a bunch of her pieces into wearable gems!
I think this is my first foreign language feature – thank goodness for Google Translator for the Dutch to English help!  Ikkie at ByBee transformed vintage tea cups from Grandma’s house into cute candles.

This Blog Is Not For You shows several ways to transform clothing using simple buttons.  Love it!

Brittney at Smart Girl Style shows how she transformed bookshelf and the rest of the room by styling and shopping her home.  I love the end result!
Ronda at Batchelors Way transformed an uncomfortable curbside find into an adorable stool to solve a seating dilemma in her office.

I can’t wait to see what you’ve all been up to on Thursday!
