For A Bowl Full of Lemons’ 21 Day Organization Challenge we’re on to the pantry. Pantry? What pantry?
I unfortunately don’t have one in my house. Our overflow food goes on wire shelving in the basement. That is, until today!
We have this odd little cupboard in the corner of our dining room, hidden behind the swinging door to the kitchen. (Remember, our house was built in 1918 – open floor plans weren’t yet invented!) Previously this had held all of our small appliances – rice cooker, bread machine, panini grill, blender, food processer, etc. I swapped the appliances with the groceries in the basement, and voila! We have a pantry! Yes, we have a thing for King Arthur Flour scone mixes – they’re fabo, have you tried? All I had to add was a $2.49 wire shelf to accomodate our table linens. Sorry, no before picture – I don’t want to share a photo of my yucky basement unless I absolutely have to!
