At long last, spring has finally settled in on Michigan. That explains to a large extend my lack of posts for the past couple of days. That and all I have to share project wise is more progress on the dancing dollies and some miscellaneous mending. I feel so ashamed when my family goes around with popped seams or holes in their socks – what’s that saying about the cobbler’s children?
With spring comes the return of sidewalk chalk season and this year I have a new artist/tracing subject to mind. Whatever Arden does, Hadley does as well. Or has a meltdown trying.
Also there are the daily rides around the block on trikes and scooters. On first attempt, this rapidly devolved into Arden zooming ahead with Dave alongside and me alternately pushing, dragging out of the grass, or carrying Hadley and the Plasma Car. Ingenuity is born of need and I wanted to take the girls out solo and had to keep them together so I grabbed a bungee and turned it into a toddler train. Problem solved. Adorably, I might add!
I’m working on a sponsored post/product review and got to meet little Morgan who served as our model/tester. Isn’t she a cutie? Soooo sweet!
Mom Jennifer and her twin sister Jessica were my tween neighbors when I bought my first house. Now she’s all grown up and a mom herself. How time flies!
As a fellow Michigander, I can attest to the gorgeous weather! I don’t think we came inside for more than 5 minutes all weekend. 🙂 What a cute little model you found!
